On the canals and the Sumida, the rings alternate high and low. Instead of chasing each one, settle into the rhythm of climbing and diving.
Courses/Tokyo
TOKYO · JAPAN
From Odaiba, dive under the Rainbow Bridge, then follow the canals and the Sumida River up to Asakusa. To finish, spiral up around Tokyo Skytree to the height of its observation deck. A long course linking Tokyo’s waterfront.

ROUTE
You start high above Odaiba. Descend as you head north and fly right under the Rainbow Bridge, through a gap of about 52 meters. The course opens with a highlight.
After the open water, you enter the Harumi Canal. From here the rings alternate left and right, high and low. At Kachidoki you pass between towers 195 and 177 meters tall.
Turn left and fly north over Tsukishima. Thread the gap between the River City 21 towers, about 47 meters wide, from south to north, then cross the cable-stayed Chuo-ohashi Bridge into the Sumida River.
Weave left and right, up and down as you head upriver. After Ryogoku and Komagata, turn left over Kaminarimon Gate, fly above Nakamise and pass beside Senso-ji’s Hozomon Gate with the pagoda and main hall in view.
Turn right across the Sumida and thread the gap between the Asahi Beer headquarters and the Sumida City Office. Follow the Kitajukken River to the foot of Skytree, then climb around it to finish in front of the observation deck, 350 meters up.
STRATEGY
On the canals and the Sumida, the rings alternate high and low. Instead of chasing each one, settle into the rhythm of climbing and diving.
The River City and Asahi gaps can only be flown one way. As soon as you pass the ring before each, look toward the gap.
This is a long course, so you can use Boost more than once. The straighter stretches of the Sumida make Just Rings easier to thread.
Around Skytree you keep turning while you climb, which eats speed. Build plenty of speed along the Kitajukken River before you start.
