PRO TIPS
Tips
Once you can reach the goal, it’s time to chase the clock. These are ordered from easiest to hardest.

LEVEL 1BASIC
Getting started
- 01
Pass every ring
Each ring speeds you up and keeps your combo alive. In almost every spot, flying through is faster than cutting past. Aim for a run with no MISS first.
- 02
Look two rings ahead
If you only watch the next ring, you end up turning hard after it. Watch where the following ring is and set up your turn before you pass through.
- 03
Pick a line that enters straight
Rings face along the smooth curve that connects them. Fly as if joining the previous and next rings and you will meet each one head-on.
LEVEL 2ADVANCED
Once you’re comfortable
- 04
Drift through turns
Drift through big turns to charge G Turbo. The bigger the angle, the stronger it gets, and releasing at the exit sends you toward the next ring at speed. Weaving short drifts on a straight to stack Lv1 turbos is a real technique too.
- 05
Aim for the Just Ring
Threading the Just Ring at the center of a ring makes you faster. It pays off most during G Turbo or Boost, where each hit extends the boost by a second.
- 06
Don’t waste Boost
You can hold three. If you sit at full, the next one you earn is wasted. Fire it on a straight toward the next ring, where the Just Ring is easier to thread.
LEVEL 3EXPERT
Going further
- 07
The endless turbo
After you thread a Just Ring, the next one glows gold. Keep threading glowing Just Rings and your boost carries all the way to each following ring. The hardest technique, and the fastest.
- 08
Trade height for speed
Diving speeds you up and climbing slows you down. Descend toward a ring to gain speed. For big changes of direction, a vertical turn, pulling up and turning at the top, can help.
- 09
Learn from your rivals
Watch where the faster planes ahead start their turns and where they drift, and work it into your own line.
