The Route
- 01
Under the Golden Gate Bridge
You start just west of the bridge and fly right under the middle of its span, through a gap of about 67 meters. Look up at the red towers as you enter the bay.

Along Crissy Field
Follow the shoreline east, low over the lawns of Crissy Field, passing close to the dome of the Palace of Fine Arts.

Across the bay to Alcatraz
Leave the shore and head out over the bay. A long straight brings Alcatraz Island closer, and you swing around past its lighthouse.

Pier 39 to Coit Tower
Head back toward the city, pass off Pier 39 and climb to Coit Tower on top of its hill. This is the one ring set high, so you go straight from the water up to it.

The Embarcadero to the Bay Bridge
Race low south along the waterfront, with the Ferry Building’s clock tower on your right and the downtown towers on your left. Fly under the Bay Bridge and finish in McCovey Cove beside the ballpark.

Chain turbos across the bay
The run out to Alcatraz has long straights. It is the perfect place to keep threading Just Rings and chain your turbos.
Climb early for Coit Tower
Coit Tower needs a big climb from Pier 39. Waiting until you are close is too late, so start pitching up once you pass the pier.
Line up for the Bay Bridge
The ring under the Bay Bridge also faces a fixed direction. After the Ferry Building, settle onto a line that takes you straight under the span.
