After the station building, you climb all the way up to the ring beside Kyoto Tower. Start preparing before you clear the station.
Over the river, the rings alternate left and right, high and low. Follow the river with an easy rhythm of climbing and diving.
After running east on Nijo-dori, you turn hard south at the great torii. Drift through it and carry G Turbo into Higashiyama.
The Kiyomizu stage sits on a cliff above its surroundings. After the Yasaka Pagoda, keep some speed in reserve for the climb.
