Terms of Service
This is an English translation provided for convenience. If there is any difference between this translation and the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
These Terms of Service (these "Terms") set out the conditions for using GeoflyX (the "Service"). Users shall use the Service upon agreeing to these Terms.
Article 1 (Accounts)
- Registering in the rankings requires signing in with a Google or Apple account.
- Users are responsible for managing their own accounts.
- Users may delete their account at any time by selecting "Delete Account" on the title screen. When an account is deleted, its ranking name and all records are deleted and cannot be restored.
Article 2 (Ranking Names)
Ranking names are made public. Users may not use another person's name, a name that infringes the rights of a third party, or any other inappropriate name.
Article 3 (Prohibited Conduct)
Users must not engage in any of the following:
- Registering records by tampering with records, using automated control programs, or any other improper means
- Impersonating another person
- Creating or publishing courses or other content that recreates a real incident, accident, or disaster, or content that may harm the dignity of those who died, victims, or people connected to them
- Placing an excessive load on the Service's servers
- Extracting, storing, processing, or otherwise using map data for any purpose other than display
- Interfering with the operation of the Service
- Any act that violates laws or regulations or is contrary to public order and morals
Article 4 (Handling of Records and Accounts)
The Operator may, without prior notice, delete or change any record, ranking name, or other content registered by a user, and any account, that violates these Terms or that the Operator determines to be improper.
Article 5 (Map Data)
The Service uses 3D map data from Google. Users shall comply with the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Article 6 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)
The Operator may, without prior notice, change the content of the Service, or suspend or terminate its provision.
Article 7 (Disclaimer)
- The Operator does not guarantee that the Service is free of defects or that records will not be lost.
- The Operator is not liable for any damage suffered by users as a result of using the Service, except where the damage is caused by the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 8 (Intellectual Property Rights)
Copyrights and other rights relating to the Service belong to the Operator or the rightful rights holders.
Article 9 (Changes to These Terms)
The Operator may change these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms take effect when they are published on this page.
Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the Service shall be handled by the court that has jurisdiction as determined in accordance with applicable laws.
